Hello everyone, it’s Danielle with Quoddy Link Marine again, back this week with another update.

Our sightings have been great, we never know what each season will bring and even though the sightings of the larger whales have been somewhat inconsistent the minke whale sightings have been great.  One of the great things about the whale watch community in St. Andrews is that the 4 main companies work very collaboratively and we will share sightings, we all want our passengers to have a great experience.

Here are some images of the fin whales we have seen in the past week.  We have documented 8 fin whales in our area so far for the 2026 season.
