Good afternoon everyone, it’s now the middle of June and we have started our daily trips.  Most days we have a trip at 1:30pm but some days we will have an extra trip added in the morning due to requests from larger groups.
We have been spending time with seals and eagles, beautiful scenery in the Islands and we have had a few sightings of minke whales including a sighting this afternoon between Whitehorse and Bliss Island.
I will continue to share daily updates on our Facebook page and share sightings here at least once a week.
Here’s our post from today and thank you for checking in!
Cheers, Danielle

SIGHTINGS UPDATE
8:30am: This morning we headed over to Campobello Island in thick Fundy Fog to take our passengers to the Roosevelt Campobello International Park so they could explore the cottage and learn about the Roosevelts time on Campobello (you can see Sam in the photo with the Quoddy Link at the Roosevelt Campobello International Park dock). After they joined us again on the Quoddy Link the fog had mostly cleared and we took a run through the Islands to see some beautiful scenery, Head Harbour Light and we visited with some seals before we had to make our way back to St. Andrews.
1:30pm: This afternoon the fog had lifted and we got some great looks at seals and porpoise and we spent time with a MINKE between Bliss and Whitehorse. We made our way over to the northern end of Campobello Island and thanks to the high tide we were able to take a run all the way AROUND Head Harbour Light! If you have ever visited the lighthouse you know that at low tide there’s a small path (and three sets of stairs) that takes you over to the light but when the tide comes in and covers that bar we can take the boat right over! It’s a unique experience but completely dependent on the tide and where the wildlife takes us!
Thanks to Claire for the updates (I’ll be back in St. Andrews soon) and thank you for checking in today.
Cheers, Danielle
