Hello everyone, we have been so busy the past three weeks, I am sorry to have not posted here sooner!  Please remember you can always check our Facebook page for daily updates and photos from our trips on the Bay of Fundy.

This season has consistently been one thing….inconsistent!  Whales are moving around and looking for their food with the larger whales moving in and out of our area.  Speaking with my colleagues all along the coast this is a similar theme everyone is seeing.  We have had days with breaching humpbacks and then next day it can be a struggle to find a whale.  Wildlife is WILD and there has to be respect for that, we do our very best to always ensure our passengers have an enjoyable trip on the Bay.

Here are some pics from the past 3 weeks

On September 14th we had an incredibly special experience, we witnessed a TRIPLE BREACH!  And one of these whales was Cork, my personal favourite and one of the whales we all look forward to seeing for the first time every season…and this was that day!  Also, the last time we saw Cork, in September of 2024, she was entangled in fishing gear so it was great to see her gear free (we had word she was gear free from the Campobello Whale Rescue Team it was just great to see with our own eyes).  This is very rare to see, and the first time I have seen a triple breach in 24 seasons.

We had a minke whale get a little curious with the boat yesterday, what a special experience for our guests (and Claire and I)

Harbour porpoise are so sweet and often overlooked for not being dolphins (so silly).

And this is Slice, a local favourite minke who we all enjoy spending time with….and we have been spending a lot of time with Slice over the past week.

Thank You for checking in today, we still have about 3 weeks left of whale watching for our 2025 season and I’ll do my best to update you all here but again, check out our Facebook page for daily posts.
Cheers, Danielle
