Hello everyone, thank you for checking in with Quoddy Link Marine!

The past week has been another great week on the Bay of Fundy.  We spent most of our time with minkes in amongst the Islands.  We did have a few sightings of a young humpback, Hashtag, off Bliss Island and Blacks Harbour.

On August 10th on our 1:30 pm trip on our way across Passamaquoddy Bay we encounter a white shark (AKA great white) feasting on a young seal.  It was incredible to witness the power of the juvenile shark and a powerful reminder of the fierce and brutal reality of nature.  I reported the sighting immediately on the Sharktivity app from the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.
