Well, it’s that time of the year again and we are back on the water and I am back with daily updates.
SIGHTINGS UPDATE
Friday June 18, 2021
Report today comes from naturalist Rika
This morning we had our first cruise of 2021! We took a chartered group of grade 8 students out on the water and could not have asked for a more perfect day. The sun was shining and the winds were light. We saw guillemots, great black backed gulls, herring gulls, harbour porpoise, bald eagles and a minke whale!
Thank You Rika, can’t wait to get back on the water myself.  And as our season begins we are taking some time to ourselves to remember John and Tracey, missing them so much especially while on the water….we take them with us, always in our hearts.
More reports coming this weekend as we officially start our season
Cheers,
Danielle
