SIGHTINGS UPDATE
Friday September 18, 2020
10am: We started with seals and then picked up Chevron, a humpback, feeding inside the Islands. “She” showed her tail multiple time as “she” took her deeper dives. We headed towards the Old Sow, the largest tidal whirlpool in the Western Hemisphere and found lots of porpoise and 2 or 3 minke whales.
2pm: We saw porpoise and seals as we looked for whales. We found a minke whale and got some good looks before heading home.
Thanks to all our passengers for braving a first really chilly fall day with us!
And Thank You to Claire for the updates today,
Cheers,
Danielle
