SIGHTINGS UPDATE
Wednesday August 5, 2020
10am: The morning trip was cancelled due to the weather forecast of high winds and rain from Hurricane Isaias.
1:30pm: This afternoon everything was clear and off we went. We saw bald eagles, both adults and a juvenile and there were porpoise everywhere! We stopped with seals, went by Whitehorse Island to check out the seabirds, and had some looks at a minke whale!
5pm: This evening we had 2 minke whales with great looks at both. We saw many bald eagles, seals and porpoise. We watched Arctic terns and Bonaparte gulls and a few Northern gannets fishing for their dinner.
