We decided to take a run off into the Grand Manan channel this afternoon just to see if we could find those right whales from yesterday, it was a beautiful day with light NWs so we took the run out. Unfortunately we did not find any whales out there so we ran back inside and found Slice, a familiar minke whale off Race Rock.

As we were watching Slice in the Happy Hunting Ground Nick spotted a blow towards the Horse. We waited and were rewarded with a few great looks at a large fin whale!
