Fundy Fog….- Thursday July 23, 2020

1:30pm: This afternoon we went out and found many seabirds hanging out in the fog. We were able to clearly see sooty and greater shearwaters, arctic terns, Bonaparte’s gulls, guillemots, herring and greater black backed gulls, and phalaropes. We could hear the shearwaters vocalizing! We viewed the eagle’s nest on Pope’s Island, saw the Head Harbour Light on the northern end of Campobello Island, saw SO many harbour porpoise, and found a minke on the way back to St Andrews.
