SIGHTINGS UPDATE
Friday September 11, 2020

2pm: Our afternoon trip started out towards the Wolves Bank where we picked up a fin whale! After getting some good looks and the second largest species of whale in the world we headed towards Head Harbour Passage. In the Passage, we found feeding harbour porpoises and got a look at a minke whale before getting word that there was a humpback near Black Rock! We got some great looks at the humpback in the passage, no fluke shots so we will have to try for ID with the dorsal fin (it’s Chevron). A HAT TRICK, all three species of whales we can commonly see in Fundy!
