SIGHTINGS UPDATE
Tuesday August 25, 2020

There was only one departure today due to weather

1:30pm: Only one trip today, and it was a little foggy. We started with seals and then found a minke whale. We watched the minke whale until we lost it in the fog and then we played in the currents of the Old Sow, the largest tidal whirlpool in the Western Hemisphere. We went back towards Campobello Island and found another minke and lots of porpoise. The rain started and we also watched a thunderstorm pass over Passamaquoddy Bay, about 10 miles away. Captain mat did a good job at avoiding the storm and getting us home with only a little rain.

Thank You to Claire for the updates and to our hearty passengers for joining us today,
Cheers,
Danielle
