πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ HAPPY CANADA DAY πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
Today was our first day on the water for 2020, this season will be different but we are still getting out on Fundy putting the health and safety of our passengers and crew first.

SIGHTINGS UPDATE
Wednesday July 1, 2020
10am: Our very first trip of 2020! We stopped at Black Ledge to watch harbour and grey seals. It was high tide but it was going out, so we got to watch the seals playing in amongst the Ledge while waiting for the tide to go out. We searched for a while in the fog and stopped to listen a few times and it paid off! Our first whale! We had lots of really great looks at a minke whale. It surfaced several times nearby and we got to see the mittens very clearly. A great first trip!
1:30pm: Our second trip of 2020, we ran straight over to Head Harbour and quickly picked up a minke whale. We had great looks before it disappeared into the fog. There were lots of razorbills, a few murre, and a couple eagles. We glimpsed at a nest with some eaglets in it and stopped a couple times with seals. We picked up another minke whale on the way back and stopped with seals at Black Ledge as we had a special request from a passenger. Wow!

THANK YOU to Rika for the updates! If you are a regular with us you may notice that I am missing from the Quoddy Link right now, I am still in the Ottawa area looking after some health issues but I will be keeping you all updated here!
Cheers,
Danielle (the redhead ☺️)
