Good evening everyone.  We have had some serious wind in the area for the past week so we had a break from the water but I do have some updates to share from September 29th (and then we had a lot of wind) and October 4th.

On September 29th we had three departures (2 charters and one regular whale watch) on the Bay of Fundy. We spent time with minke whales on all three trips and on the evening  we were out with a large group from the Huntsman Marine Science Centre we found 2 large finbacks off Head Harbour Light on the ebb tide (no photos of the fins)! The eagles continue to be incredible along the Campobello shoreline and we saw lots of porpoise and seals all day

It was so great to be back on the water today, October 4th!! We have not been out since September 29th but were happy to find three minke whales, including Slice, in Head Harbour Passage. We also saw lots of harbour porpoise and both harbour and grey seals at Black Ledge. The weather is looking good for the next little bit and hurricane Juaquin doesn’t look to be heading our way anymore.
